Released in February 2023, the latest release of Sage 200 includes several of the most voted-for features by customers from the Sage Ideas Hub, as well as major improvements to some of the API endpoints, plus enhanced migration tools.
The new features of Sage 200 2023 R1 fall mainly into 3 categories.
1. Web-enabling the Sage 200 product, with a choice of deployment options (on-premise or Microsoft Azure), to deliver the following key elements - software modernisation, integration with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate and flexibility to customise in order to support business requirements.
2. Strengthening the core accounting functionality and building out the API capabilities, by simplifying user experiences and system flow with a focus on key accounting processes, all whilst continuing to expand the capability of the solution's API.
3. Industry-specific functionality. Delivering appropriate features for customers to focus on their industry requirements.
