| How do i access the pack? |
The download pack is available now. Simply log in to your customer portal to download your Sage Payroll year end guide 2009/2010 and the update.

| Sage Payroll and Sage 50 Payroll |
If you use Sage Payroll and Sage 50 Payroll you must install the update as soon as you receive it, before processing year end. This ensures that you have the correct P60 layouts installed. If required, you can also start processing payroll for the new tax year before you have run year end. Before installing the update you must ensure you’re using one of the following versions:
- Sage 50 Payroll 2010 v16.00
- Sage 50 Payroll 2009 v15.01, v15.02, v15.03
- Sage 50 Payroll 2008 v14.04, v14.05, v14.06
- Sage 50 Payroll 2007 v13.07, v13.08, v13.09
- Sage Payroll v12.10, v12.11, v12.12
- Sage Payroll v11.13, v11.14, v11.15
To check the version, open the Help menu and choose About.

Before installing the update, you must process your final payroll for the 2009/2010 tax year and complete the year end.
Note: To ensure that your P60s print correctly, you must install updated layouts. Full instructions about how to do this are contained within the year end guide.
Before installing the update you must ensure you are using Sage Instant Payroll v11.10 or v11.11. To check the version, click Tools then click My Instant Payroll.

If you have not already done so, to submit online you must register with HM Revenue and Customs for the PAYE Online for Employers service. To register, visit www.hmrc.gov.uk and click PAYE for employers.

To ensure that your P60s line up with the stationery you have, you must install new P60 report layouts. This is because HM Revenue & Customs had not released their P60 requirements when your current software was released.
Sage 50 Payroll - The new tax year update contains the new P60 layouts, so you must install this before processing your year end.
