On Wednesday 4th November, Sage hosted their annual Partner Kick-off event, as with most things this year - virtually. A staple of the Kick-off event is the Partner Awards ceremony, in which we were pleased to be nominated in 2 categories: Sage 200cloud Partner of the Year & Sage Customer Success Partner of the Year. Picture this, our team sat in their homes waiting patiently for the big reveal.
The drama of the ceremony albeit virtual was palpable, having narrowly missed out on the Sage 200cloud award, the final award announcement for Customer Success Partner began.
The Customer Success Partner is a new award, replacing the Overall Partner of the Year award, as Sage continues to and puts enhanced focus on #startwiththecustomer for FY21. Innov8 were nominated against 2 Sage channel stalwarts and in truth, it felt like an outside chance of winning.
The criteria for the award is as follows:
- great customer retention
- working closely with Sage
- feedback from the customer services team
EVP & Managing Director of Sage UK & Ireland, Paul Struthers announced:
"The winner of this award is a Partner who's FY20 goal was to use a strong combination of both innovation and customer success to not only win, but delight customers while they did it. Adding their own IP and innovation within Warehouse Management, they have worked tirelessly to keep customers - not only open, but get more orders out the door, helping them build their businesses, during really uncertain times.
Working closely with Sage they have adopted a customer success methodology, that has meant more touch-points with the customer and introduction of customer NPS scoring. Looking forward, this Partner is also looking at adding Sage Intacct to their portfolio. Great to see.

We work closely with Sicon on a number of solution projects, enhancing customer's functionality and their ethos of leveraging industry experience sits well with our own.
With the efforts of the team over the past 12 months, Innov8 also scooped Sicon's 'Biggest Growth Partner 2020' !
